| Unemployment Denials & Appeals |
If you received a Notice of Determination from the Commonwealth of Kentucky disqualifying you for unemployment benefits and/or informing you of a repayment of benefits obligation, we recommend that you immediately appeal the Notice of Determination by using the appeal form below. The appeal form includes a statement concerning the reason for your appeal that has been prepared by Local 513 attorneys. The appeal form may be faxed to the number on the appeal form. The appeal must be received by, or if mailed, postmarked by the date stated on the Notice of Determination you received. Private postage meters may not be used to determine the postmark date. You must file your appeal in a timely manner.
If you have already filed an appeal, we recommend that you re-file yrour appeal using the appeal form below.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky recommends that you continue to claim benefits while your claim is under appeal. If the appeal is decided in your favor, benefits may be paid for the weeks properly claimed.

Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines Corp. could file for bankruptcy protection if prime client Delta Air Lines Inc. refuses to revise contracts, an industry analyst said.

Keep in mind Travelnet records all actions performed by the Travelnet user and the Company has the right to check all seat requests submitted when calling in Commuter. Don't leave the gate area until after the door closes. Just in case you may be able to be given a seat assignment at the last minute.

When a manager or supervisor would like to engage you in an 'informal' discussion, be aware that anything you say without representation can and will expose you to potential discipline. Should this happen to you simply state that you would be happy to discuss whatever topic that they detail in a letter requesting such meeting. You will be arranging representation for such meeting.

MOU that Clarifies Mutual Trades was signed on 24JUN11. This MOU clarifies and firmly establishes the Union's position that a Flight Attendant is able to trade any portion of his/her trip as long as it does not violate a FAR or any provision of the CBA (Sec 23.O.10). This includes DHs.
