Connie Slayback began her career
with Comair in January, 1989 when there were fewer than 70 flight
attendants on the seniority list. She served on the negotiating
committee for the first IBT/COMAIR Flight Attendant agreement. After
becoming a charter member of the Teamsters Local 513 she remained
involved as a Base representative. In October 2004 Connie became
Vice President of the Local 513 Executive Board. In 2005 she
became a Business Agent and later that same year was appointed by the
Local 513 Executive Board as President of the Local.
